| We as humans
are creatures of habit and as such we have this habit of wanting to physically
touch and explore things of interest or curiosity.
This is why
I believe that even though we have collected a great deal of information
on our planets - there is nothing that can be compared to seeing and feeling
a New unexplored planet under your feet, and knowing that at least part
of our future and destiny may be to explore and colonise the stars, for
WE are about to embark on a journey that will take us beyond our wildest
dreams or imagination.
With new findings
of large quantities of water on both the moon and mars, as well as oxygen
levels being found within the grain / soil of the moon - the past cost
restrictions on establishing offworld colonys' has been significantly reduced,
making a more plausible and viable future project option for future space
colonisation.
Naturally to
have a financially sustainable colony on any planet, there would have to
be some kind of commercial trade happening between earth and the planet
in question. This would have to be achieved either by mining the new planet
for its minerals for export purposes and or via a kind of tourism type
of industry. |
